Congratulations to Professor Ifan Stephens (CPLAS Imperial Lead) and Professor Stefan Maier for being named among the world’s most cited researchers—a recognition of their impactful contributions to science.
The Highly Cited Researchers 2024 list, compiled annually by Clarivate Analytics, highlights researchers whose work is in the top 1% of cited papers in their fields over the last decade. This achievement reflects the value and influence of their research in the academic community.
This marks Stephens’ third consecutive appearance on the list, having first been recognised in 2022, and Maier’s impressive seventh year running, with his first appearance in 2017.
Both were named in the Cross-Field category, reflecting the interdisciplinary nature of their research at CPLAS. Their continued presence on this list underscores the lasting impact of their work and its importance across multiple scientific disciplines.
