CPLAS (Nano)glows at Imperial White City Community Day
Tags: outreach
CPLAS took Nanoglow to a fantastic community event at Imperial’s White City Campus today.
Dr Sasah Rakovich and Megan Grace-Hughes met many curious minds and gave visitors a hands-on introduction to nanoparticles, resonance, and why these phenomena are so important for plasmo-catalysis. From colourful colloids to interactive demos, we explored how nanoscale materials respond to light and how this behaviour can help drive cleaner, more sustainable chemical processes.
The highlight?
Co-designing a giant gold nanocluster model with participants!
We can’t wait for the next opportunity to share the Nanoglow story and spark more conversations about how nanotechnology can light up a sustainable future. 🌱✨
